In this area you will find photographs from some of our most recent weddings. Please be patient. Depending on the speed of your connection, the images will take a little while to appear. We’ve only scanned in a few from each wedding to give you an idea of our style of shooting.
We enjoy the art of capturing moments and documenting events. My style of shooting is different from wedding photographers that you may be accustomed to seeing. We believe that, like people, every wedding is unique and cannot be factory produced into the same routine weekend after weekend. Trained as a Photojournalist, I prefer to blend into the background and capture memories as they occur. We do not wish to be the center of attention or obtrusive in any manner.
We do understand that everyone would like some posed photographs. After all, how often is everyone dressed to the hilt and together all at one time? So we do take family and group pictures while we have everyone together, usually immediately following the ceremony. To help with this task, we have a check list to give you an idea of some of those "standard" wedding photos.
OdellPhotos is truly a family business. My wife Leslee, is my assistant and I've found her to be a valued asset. She helps with organizing and arranging everyone, which gives me the freedom to concentrate on composition and the technical aspects of photography. Leslee will also make sure that every posed shot you request gets taken. She will ensure that no bang is out of place, lipstick smeared or slip hanging out. She is also our wedding album designer and assembler.
